Dorney Court is a stunning Grade-I listed Tudor manor in Windsor, Berkshire, with a history dating back over 1,000 years. This historic venue is available to hire for Christmas parties.
Dorney Court’s history goes so far back, this manor house was mentioned in the Domesday Book in 1086. Since then it has changed somewhat, but the interiors have remained virtually unchanged in 500 years, making Dorney Court arguably one of the most impressive historic venues available for private hire in the country.
Come the festive season, Dorney Court becomes an atmospheric Christmas wonderland. There are a number of areas available for private hire on the estate, but the jewel in the crown is The Coach House Barn - a striking, red-bricked reinterpretation of the Victorian brewery that once sat on site. Four double doors open into a stunning, blank-canvas space that can be adapted for huge Christmas banquets, drinks parties, dances, and everything in between. There’s also an al fresco Yorkstone terrace to break out onto, should you want a bit of additional outdoor space. The Coach House Barn is available to hire for up to 120 seated guests, or 200 standing guests. In the corner, you'll find a rustic stable, which can be used however you like.
Catering is all handled in-house by a team with a wealth of event catering experience. Food can come in whatever form you like, ranging from canapes for a drinks party to full sit-down banquets. A special three-course Christmas menu includes a range of choices, with dishes such as chicken liver parfait with tomato chutney, roast turkey with all the trimmings, and Christmas pudding with custard.
Dorney Court offers lots of activities besides, including a range of country pursuits on the estate, and tours of the manor house and grounds.
