The private dining room is part of the hotel's smart restaurant, Haxells. Haxells serves up a menu of modern British cuisine, underpinned by its passion for locally-sourced, top quality produce. In the main restaurant tables can be booked for up to eight people, if you fancy a Christmas get together over a lovely meal for just a handful of guests. Just off the main Haxells restaurant, the team can prepare the private dining room to accomodate any style of event. Up to 40 guests can be entertained for a sit-down meal, or 50 for a standing drinks reception with cocktails and nibbles. Tables can be reconfigured to suit the style of your gathering too - from a U-shape through to seperate tables and everything in between.
For private dining bookings, guests are invited to enjoy a set menu which changes throughout the year. While at Christmas time you can expect a nod to traditional festive foods, some examples of previous set menus include hot kiln smoked salmon served with asparagus and a dijon mustard dressing to start; corn-fed chicken, roasted baby heritage carrots and crushed new potatoes for mains; as well as chocolate fondant served with vanilla bean ice cream for dessert. Haxells also offers drinks packages for private dining such as a selection of bottled beers, house wines, spirits and champagne.
