Just 50 minutes by train from London Marylebone, and only minutes from Junction 9 of the M40 and Bicester's two mainline stations, Tythe is easily accessible, but still has the feeling of a secluded rural escape. There’s ample parking at the venue, and even space to land a helicopter for those arriving by air.
Tythe offers a collection of beautiful spaces that unfold naturally throughout your wedding day. Exchange vows beneath the oak beams of the historic Thatched Barn, amid an avenue of Silver Birch trees, under weathered oak Arbour overlooking grazing sheep, or next door in the beautiful 12th-century St Mary's Church. Sip Champagne in the gardens, then gather family and friends for a dance beneath twinkling fairy lights, and end the evening with wood-fired pizzas and Espresso Martinis by the fire.
Beyond the celebration itself, Tythe becomes a home for family and friends. The Farmhouse offers seven double en-suite bedrooms, elegant reception rooms, a dining room and library, while additional accommodation includes The Shepherd's Hut, The Lodge and The Nook. Guests are encouraged to make the most of the gardens, orchard, tennis court, hot tub, wild showers and indoor and outdoor games, extending the celebration into a memorable countryside stay.
