Found overlooking Pierremont Park in Broadstairs, Pierremont Hall stands as a charming, historic wedding venue perfect for couples seeking a relaxed, intimate ‘I do’. Set in a whitewashed, historic civic building, and armed with direct access to Pierremont Park (and all the wedding photo opportunities that turns up), this characterful Kent wedding venue comes with great flexibility. Think elegant period interiors, plenty of greenery, and adaptable set-ups primed for both formal and more informal weddings. 

The largest space for wedding hire at Pierremont Hall is the Chamber Hall, with its high ceilings, lovely muted colour palette, and traditional detailing. Licensed for civil ceremonies, you can host up to 54 seated guests to watch you exchange vows, with space for up to 70 later in the evening. The neutral interiors allow couples to take the decor in any direction, while outdoor access adds to the appeal, providing a natural extension for post-ceremony drinks and photography. 

Planning something a little more intimate? Pierremont Hall is fully equipped to host small weddings, too, thanks to the Music Room. With gorgeous orangery-style windows as your backdrop, and plenty of natural light, ceremonies here can seat up to 12, with room for 20 at the reception. It feels totally private and very elegant. What’s more, you can use the Mayor’s Parlour upstairs for a dressing room, and it even comes lined with mirrors for getting ready. 

Operating on a self-catered basis, you can plan the food exactly how you’d wish, from the wedding breakfast to the evening. You can have it all delivered, or have caterers set up in the kitchen, so whether you’re planning a formal wedding breakfast, relaxed sharing-style dining or something more unconventional, you can tailor it all. Pierremont Hall was everything we wanted for our wedding. We originally booked to have it elsewhere, but it fell through. And what an amazing stroke of luck! From the very first contact with Mia, we were instantly put at ease and could picture our wedding clearly in this beautiful venue. Mia was in regular contact and offered names of suppliers for food, drink and entertainment. The day ran so smoothly and it is down to Mia that I was the most chilled bride ever! The building is absolutely gorgeous, and it fit really well with the aesthetic we were going for. Mia dealt with all the vendors to arrange timings and I could not be more grateful. I couldn’t stop smiling all day and just felt so relaxed that she had everything under control. I would recommend Pierremont Hall to anyone looking for a wedding venue. You will not be disappointed. The Mayor’s Parlour was a lovely place to get ready before the ceremony, and Council Chamber Hall is just a stunning room, with beautiful wooden flooring and massive windows to bring the outside in. We had guests spending time both inside and outside in the evening but we felt connected to them all with the doors open. The day was exactly how we had imagined it, and if I had to do it all again, I wouldn’t change a thing!

My partner and I are notoriously indecisive people, and we did look at a few venues including the Pierremont. Ultimately, we did choose the Pierremont for a multitude of reasons, and one of those reasons was Mia. We found during our venue search, most of the people we dealt weren’t great at communicating. We were always waiting on them. This wasn’t the case with Mia. Also Mia is incredibly organised and professional, always on hand for advice; but not pushy with it. We were anxious about the ceremony, but Mia’s preparation and advice worked wonders. She is an asset for the Pierremont. The venue itself is beautiful, and when we eventually receive our photos are imagine the venue is going to be one of the stars of the show. Lots of light in an incredible space. It is really a hidden gem, without being ridiculously overpriced. Unfortunately, when you say the ‘W’ word, zeroes are added to everything. My now-wife and I were married ten days before I wrote this review, and everyone we dealt with had been incredible and we have said to each other since the big day that we had the best people helping us put together our big day. We cannot thank Mia enough for her hard work, understand and especially her patience.
