This neighbourhood restaurant has two floors of space to host private dining, events and wedding receptions. It's located right in the middle of Cambridge with great transport links, is close to the city centre, and is surrounded by a wealth of landmarks and beautiful, storied buildings.
Novi offers two floors for hosting which can used separately for more intimate affairs, or combined for a total capacity of 180 people. The first floor has space for 40 people when dining in banquet format, while the second floor has space for 70 people seated. You can speak to the team about staggering the spaces to suit your group: perhaps drinks and canapes on the first floor, with dining set up on the second. Or, perhaps a smaller dinner to start, with an evening event for more of your gang, filled with music, smaller bites, drinks and dancing. On that note, Novi can make space for DJ equipment and the second floor benefits from a fully stocked private bar, too.
In terms of vibe, the team are friendly, happy to help and passionate about food. They'll work with you to create a wedding breakfast that suits your tastes perfectly, but for an overarching idea of the venue's cuisine, check out the recent dinner menus. In the past, dishes have looked like crayfish and lobster brioche sliders with pickled cucumbers and baby gem, alongside Korean fried chicken with toasted sesame and spring onion, as well as oyster mushroom shawarma with lemon and cumin houmous and hazelnut dukka - all designed to share.
What about a welcome drink for your loved ones? Novi does a great Grapefruit Spritz with Hendricks gin, Aperol, pink grapefruit soda, cucumber syrup and lemon, and the team can source a beautiful sparkling crémant for your occasion as well.
