Novi Cambridge

Novi is a design-conscious, versatile restaurant in the heart of Cambridge's historical city centre, serving brunch to dinner, with plenty of space for private dining and events, too. Its location is hard to beat: just minute's walk from Downing College, the museums of science and zoology and the Grand Arcade - everything that Cambridge is famous for is on your doorstep. 

Set in a beautiful, Tudor-style building, Novi cuts a more contemporary picture than the rest of town with a design scheme that uses a mix of modern furnishings and industrial touches. The contrast is aesthetically pleasing and with a minimalist point of view, creates space for events and allows your celebration to be the focal point. 

The first floor is a light, airy dining room with capacity for 40 guests seated. It works well for a group lunch or dinner, but is also often favoured as a meeting space or team away day, allowing you to swap the office for a fresh change of scenery. On such occasions as these, the AV system comes in handy, as well as a Logitech Video Conferencing system for reaching clients further afield, and the staff can reconfigurate the seating to work for presentations - or whatever you need. 

The top floor has more character still with a bottle-green, panelled bar, pendant lighting and snuggly green banquettes that feel really trendy right now. Here, you can host up to 70 people in a banquet-style seating set up for dinner, but this space also works well for canapes and cocktails. You'll get use of your own fully-stocked private bar and dedicated bar staff and you can work with the chefs on devising a private dining menu that works for your event. 

Looking to throw a real knees up? In that case, you should take over the whole place. With space for 180 guests across all floors, this is the perfect setting for a really big, throw-everything-at-it party.
