A venue fit for royalty is the only choice for your special day. Awe-inspiring, grand and steeped in history, Banqueting House provides a picture perfect setting alongside an events team that will be on hand every step of the way to help make your experience unforgettable. Your dedicated events manager will help you realise the perfect vision for your big day and then bring it to life through trusted suppliers in the catering, floristry and entertainment industries.
Banqueting House is a magnificent survivor of the Royal Palace of Whitehall so there really is no better wedding venue to make you feel like royalty. Two different rooms can be adapted to your tastes for the ceremony, wedding breakfast, reception and party.
First is the Main Hall: specially created for entertaining, this space dates back to 1622 and allows your guests to arrive via an elegant entrance hall and follow in the footsteps of kings and queens as they climb the staircase and behold the Main Hall. This makes for a truly breathtaking entrance and your guests will be taken aback by the sheer beauty and grandeur of this backdrop. In the hall, neo-classical pillars support an opulent balcony that overlooks the main space. Huge chandeliers glitter as they hang from a ceiling which is nothing less than a masterpiece. Sir Peter Paul Ruben's painted ceiling creates an ambience like no other; a magic that will make your day even more special.
While slightly smaller, the Undercroft is just as impressive. Huge archways create snug corners and a special atmosphere for an unforgettable evening of celebrations. Whether you decide to hold the ceremony in this vaulted space, followed by a reception in the Main Hall; or use the space for a more intimate celebratory dinner, this candelabra-lit chamber is romantic and magnificent.
