Celeb chef and TV heartthrob Gino D’Acampo has gone into the casual restaurant business with the launch of this pasta bar and deli aimed at city folk on the move – most dishes can be knocked up in
a couple of minutes, and you can either eat in or take your food out in a box. It’s a simple idea – assorted homemade pastas with a choice of sauces, backed by antipasti and stuzzichini, rustic
soups, speciality breads, pastries and proper Italian coffee. Start the day with a rotolino (breakfast bread stuffed with ham and cheese) or drop by later for some arancini balls (including a
version with spinach), crayfish salad with grilled artichoke hearts, fettuccine with meatballs, or gnocchi in salsa rossa, followed by a helping of tiramisu, or ricotta and mascarpone cheesecake.
Expect further outlets in due course.
