This sweet Anatolian restaurant may not be as cutting edge as its namesake fashion store, but it’s just as colourful. Amiable staff will kick off meals by bringing an array of £3-4 mezze: all the
regulars, plus spicy sausages baked with tomato & potato, or pan-fried lamb’s kidneys with mushrooms & peppers. Char-grilled meats with veg & rice follow; best is tavuk iskender –
grilled chicken & shards of pitta in yoghurt & tomato sauce. Anatolian specialities include pan-fried king prawns or slow-cooked joint of lamb (the meat falling from the bone). Puds
(caramel parfait) are more European, though the flaky, syrupy baklava paired with rich Turkish coffee is irresistible. The wine list may not be thrilling, but there’s ample choice under £15.
