Wonderland Restaurant is an exciting new concept brought to the heart of Soho, championing honest fast food. There are two menus available: one focusing on vegan-friendly, meat-alternatives, and the other offering a sustainable, planet-conscious way to enjoy meat.
The restaurant's menu explains its position perfectly, saying: 'we believe there's a better way to satisfy your fast food cravings while respecting your body and the planet.' For Wonderland, that means using quality, green, organic ingredients sourced from artisanal suppliers. When it comes to plant-based ingredients, these guys only use non-chemical ingredients which aren't ultra processed, cooked on separate grills. Their eco-friendly sentiments continue to packaging, with all takeaway materials being 100% recyclable or compostable.
Some examples of what you can expect on the meat-based menu include the Royale With Cheese Burger with a grass fed beef patty, organic cheddar, homemade gherkins, roast onion jam, lettuce, tomato, wonder sauce and a brioche bun, alongside the Chipotle Chicken Burrito Bowl with organic spiced chicken, sweet potatoes, avocado, crunchy toasted corn, cashew nacho cheese and more. Finish it with an indulgent dessert, we like the sound of the Simpsons Donut with white icing and sprinkles.
Whilst, over on the vegan menu, the Mr. Pink Fried Chick'N Sandwich sounds delicious, stuffed full with a homemade Chick'N breast base, garlic mayo, Mr. Pink Secret Sauce, pickled onions, lettuce and tomato, on a vegan brioche bun. Or, get stuck into The Empire Shawarma with organic plant doner, chilli sauce and baba ghanoush.
There's also a selection of sweet treats for vegan diners, such as The Wonderful Sundae with cashew almond soft serve, gooey chocolate brownie, honeycomb, caramel fudge and raspberry sauce.
In terms of the decor, think a fun, zany twist on a classic American diner, souped up with neon lights and playful booths. A great place to come for a casual bite with friends.
