Founded by Graham Bradbury, Two Twins Tacos began life as a street food venture in Brixton before growing into one of London’s most talked-about taco brands. Following the success of its original Brixton Village Market site, the restaurant has expanded across the capital, bringing its California-inspired take on Mexican street food to neighbourhoods including Notting Hill, Kilburn and Spitalfields.
The concept takes its cues from Southern California’s laid-back beach culture, combining bold flavours, speedy service and an accessible approach to dining. The focus is firmly on tacos, with a menu that blends traditional Mexican influences with West Coast creativity. Diners can choose from a variety of taco styles, ranging from the OG Soft Shell with pickled cabbage, salsa roja and avocado crema, to the Crispy Birria, filled with melted mozzarella and served alongside rich beef consommé. Other options include the cheese-laden Vampiro and the Cali Crunch, a hard-shell taco layered with cheesy beans, lettuce and salsa.
Fillings span both classic and contemporary combinations, with options such as slow-cooked birria beef, achiote lamb and pineapple jerk chicken showcasing the kitchen’s flavour-first philosophy. Alongside tacos, there are a handful of sides including tortilla chips and puffed pork scratchings, both served with the restaurant’s signature guacamole. House-made salsas and lime crema provide plenty of opportunities for extra heat and flavour.
The drinks offering follows the same uncomplicated approach. Margaritas, available in both classic and spicy variations, sit alongside mezcal, lager and soft drinks, providing easy-going pairings for the food.
While the menu takes inspiration from both Mexico and California, the emphasis remains on affordability, generous portions and crowd-pleasing flavours. With its colourful branding, energetic atmosphere and commitment to making tacos accessible to a wide audience, Two Twins Tacos has built a loyal following across London and continues to champion a relaxed, modern take on taqueria dining.
