About

The Devil's Dyke in Brighton is a country pub oozing rural charm and rustic character. Our picturesque surroundings provide the perfect backdrop for savouring the hearty, seasonal pub-food on our menu, and the carefully nurtured cask ales and fine wines gracing our bar.

Whether you are planning dinner with friends or Sunday lunch with family, book a table online and enjoy some quality time with those you love the most.

The pub restaurant offers an ideal spot to rest after a day exploring the Devil's Dyke Valley, from which it got its name. According to local folklore the valley is an unfinished trench which was dug by the Devil in an attempt to flood the churches of the Weald. The valley now plays host to The Dyke Golf Club and Dyke Golf Course.

Our pub is on the beautiful Downs with great views overlooking Brighton - on a clear day can see London. It takes its name from the nearby beauty spot, a valley supposedly dug by the Devil.
