Six by Nico Bristol brings an exciting, ever-changing dining experience to the heart of the city. Located on Corn Street, this modern European restaurant is the brainchild of renowned chef Nico Simeone, whose signature six-course tasting menus rotate every six weeks. Each menu is inspired by a different theme, concept or destination, so there’s always something new to discover, whether it’s a whimsical Mad Hatter’s tea party or a deep dive into the bold, soulful flavours of New Orleans.
Inside, the decor is maximalist and extravagant. A grand olive tree sits at the centre of the dining room, with tables arranged beneath its branches. Rich, earthy colours run throughout, with statement lighting, chandeliers, moody tones, and an elegant open bar setting the scene. Leather seating in deep blue and brown tones adds warmth and texture, creating a space that’s both glamorous and inviting.
Guests can opt for a four-course lunch menu or the full six-course experience, with the option to add paired wines. Menus are experimental and full of flair, such as the New Orleans-inspired tasting which includes gumbo, BBQ shrimp and grits, crispy prawn po’ boy, and banana foster with dulce de leche. On Mondays, diners can take part in the five-course Trust tasting menu, which comes with a blank menu, challenging guests to guess each dish.
Open Wednesday to Sunday for lunch and dinner, Six by Nico is perfect for birthdays, date nights, group dining and special occasions. Bookings are essential as each new menu attracts curious food lovers from across Bristol and beyond.
