Rosa’s Thai Guildford brings bold, authentic Thai flavours to one of Surrey’s most vibrant town centres. Situated on Friary Street - Guildford’s emerging hangout spot - the restaurant is just moments from The Friary shopping centre and a short walk from The Electric Theatre and Yvonne Arnaud Theatre, making it ideal for pre-theatre meals, relaxed lunches or fun family dinners.
The exterior is eye-catching, with red neon signage and greenery around the doorway, while outdoor seating invites guests to dine al fresco. Step inside and you’ll find a bright, colourful space with tiled floors, red ceilings and green leather booth seating. Mismatched chairs and eclectic Thai art bring a playful energy to the dining room, which also features exposed brickwork, a tiled bar and a large open kitchen.
Rosa’s menu is inspired by founder Saiphin Moore’s family recipes and showcases the best of regional Thai cuisine. Authentic ingredients are imported from Thailand, and most dishes can be tailored to your preferred spice level. Small plates include crispy prawn doughnuts (tod mungoon), chargrilled pork skewers (moo ping), and a classic sharing platter for two. Larger plates feature pad Thai, grilled river prawns (goong maenam pao), pork belly (pad gra prow moo kroob), fragrant curries such as duck gaeng daeng supparod ped, and a range of stir fries, rice dishes and roti bread.
A one-plate 'jarn diew' menu, fresh salads and a generous selection of vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free dishes make this a great all-rounder. Children are welcome, with a dedicated kids’ menu featuring Rosa’s best-loved recipes.
