Regency House is a modern British and European restaurant in Belfast, serving seasonal menus that showcase local produce. Open for brunch, lunch and dinner, it’s suited to everything from relaxed breakfasts and casual lunches to special occasions and evening dining. The kitchen is led by award-winning chef Chris McClurg, whose menus celebrate the best ingredients from across Northern Ireland. Seasonal produce takes centre stage, with dishes evolving throughout the year to reflect what’s available locally.
Dining takes place within The Drawing Room, a space that reflects the character of the historic Regency House building. A marble-topped, wood-panelled bar anchors the room, while checkerboard flooring, panelled walls and warm lighting create an elegant atmosphere. Leather and brushed suede seating, cosy corners, and softly glowing lamps encourage guests to settle in and take their time. The restaurant is also available for intimate private dining and special events.
The menu offers a selection of snacks, small plates and larger dishes designed for sharing or enjoying as a full meal. To begin, guests can choose from options such as olives, vegetable crisps and smoked almonds, before moving on to plates including chorizo picante with hot honey, arancini and rarebit muffins served with cheddar and red pepper relish. Cold cuts and sharing options include duck terrine, charcuterie boards and Irish cheese selections.
Larger plates feature comforting dishes such as the Regency BLT, croque lyonnaise topped with caramelised onion and fried egg and sirloin steak. To finish, desserts include sticky Irish fudge pudding and dark chocolate fondant. Brunch remains a particular draw, pairing classic dishes with barista-made coffees, Bloody Marys and the restaurant’s signature Flat White Martini. Meanwhile, the Regency House drinks list features curated wines, premium Champagne, classic cocktails, beers, juices, smoothies and soft drinks, alongside teas and coffees.
