Co-founded by childhood friends Elia Sebregondi and Enzo Mirto, both originally from Naples, Officina 00 is an artisanal pasta kitchen and Italian workshop located in Covent Garden.
Situated amongst the hustle and bustle of the West End, Officina 00 brings a slice of Italian tradition to London. Just steps from Covent Garden Piazza and Leicester Square, the restaurant is warm and stylish. The interiors combine leather and wood seating, exposed brickwork, trailing greenery, and cheery emerald-green tiles, creating a cosy yet contemporary atmosphere. With an open kitchen and counter-seating at the pasta station, diners can watch the culinary craft in action, adding theatre to the dining experience.
Open seven days a week with lunch and dinner service, this newest branch joins Officina 00’s established Old Street and Fitzrovia locations. As a unique feature, Covent Garden introduces an exclusive range of “Nonna’s pizza” - Neapolitan-style, pan-baked pizzas using English-milled, traceable 00 flour, prepared tableside in rutiello pans.
At its heart is the central pasta lab, where chefs hand-craft fresh pasta daily using traditional techniques and the finest ingredients. The menu offers a refined selection of bread, focaccia, snacks and small plates - think fried raviolo stuffed with cacio e pepe, aubergine & nduja croquettes, Caprese salad, buffalo burrata with tomato tartare and panka lasagne, leading into a well-judged pasta lineup. Highlights include raviolo bergese (egg-yolk and wild mushrooms), caserecce with pistachio pesto and yuzu kosho, curly pappardelle in beef short-rib ragù, occhi parcels with oxtail and aged provolone, and truffled tagliatelle.
Complemented by a thoughtful drinks list that includes affordable Italian wines, cocktails and gluten-free options, Officina 00 delivers a compelling fusion of authentic Italian flavour, hand-made pasta excellence, and West End flair - ideal for casual lunches, dinner dates, or late-evening gatherings amid Covent Garden’s energetic buzz.
