Fortnum & Mason to open first-ever Biscuitorium, with an interactive ‘Biscuit Library’ and a 400g sharing biscuit

Fortnum & Mason is doubling down on its love of biscuits with the launch of the Biscuitorium, a brand-new destination opening at its Piccadilly flagship on 14 May 2026.

Located on the mezzanine and measuring more than 200 sq/m, the Biscuitorium will be an immersive space dedicated to all things biscuits. Expect over 70 varieties, theatrical displays, and a host of exclusive new flavours.

Biscuit lovers can discover their favourite biccie at The Biscuit Library, an interactive experience that invites customers to select their favourite flavour profile at the press of a button. The ‘library’ will feature 12 distinct flavour categories, from ‘Buttery & Traditional’ to ‘Dark & Decadent’, as well as gluten-free and vegan options, with the display revealing a tailored biscuit recommendation based on the profile they choose.

Fortnum & Mason are also releasing their largest biscuit to date! The Whoppalossus is a round, chocolate covered biccie weighing in at a hefty 400g, and measuring 15.5cm in diameter. Not dissimilar to a classic Wagon Wheel, flavours include marshmallow and salted almond caramel or pistachio and raspberry marshmallow, with the biscuit designed to be broken apart and shared.

More biscuit fun can be had over at The Made in Piccadilly counter, where customers will be able to choose from a selection of Fortnum’s iconic Made in Piccadilly biscuits – think oat and ganache, Eton Mess and chocolate, peanuts and caramel.

The luxury British retailer is also launching its first ever Biscuits for Drinks range, a collection of sweet and semi-sweet biscuits designed to be paired with Fortnum’s drinks and shaped specifically for dunking. Flavours include yuzu and pink peppercorn, and vanilla and smoked sea salt.

Holly Warren, Biscuit Buyer at Fortnum & Mason, comments on the launch: ‘At Fortnum’s, biscuits have always held a special place in our hearts. The Biscuitorium is a space where we can celebrate both our heritage and our curiosity for new ideas, from perfecting much-loved classics to introducing playful innovations.

‘We wanted to create something truly immersive that invites customers to explore, discover and, most importantly, indulge in the very best of biscuit craftsmanship.’
