Run by Adam and Jess, along with Laila and Phoebe, this is a pub built around welcoming everyone through the door, families, dog owners and friends alike. Four-legged visitors are just as much a part of the furniture as the regulars, and there's a real emphasis on making sure every generation has a good time.
The kitchen turns out homemade food with care, from hearty mains and lunches to small plates and desserts, alongside a well-stocked bar of wines, spirits, real ales and beers. In the warmer months, the large sunny beer garden comes into its own, backing directly onto St Nicholas Park car park, making it an easy spot to round off a walk in the park with a pint while children play nearby.
Its location is a real draw too, within walking distance of Warwick Castle and right by St Nicholas Park, so it works equally well as a pre- or post-sightseeing stop or a destination in its own right. For bigger occasions, the pub can accommodate groups of up to 25 in winter, with buffet menus and outside catering available for events.
