The lunch menu is served between 12 and 4pm. Sandwiches are served on open toasted bread, and come with salad, coleslaw and crisps. Choose from sandwich or panini fillings of haggis with caramelised onions and Scottish cheddar, halloumi with tomato and pepper, and Oak smoked Scottish salmon with dill creme fraiche. Starters include smoked haddock with leek and potato crumble, ham hock croquettes with apple puree, and indulgent creamy mushrooms on fresh bread.
The main courses are classics with a truly Scottish twist. Choose from a slow cooked Scottish lamb casserole with mustard mash and market vegetables, mediterranean vegetables stuffed aubergine topped with cheese and served with new potatoes and salad, and a homemade Scottish beef burger. For dessert, choose from a triple hot chocolate cookie, lemon tartlet with cream and fruit compote, and a delicious cheese board with biscuits and chutney.
