About

Entrepreneurs and cheeky chappies JJ Goodman and James Hopkins are the personalities behind this series of fun, outlandishly themed bars, each defined by a signature spirit – ‘tattoo rum parlour’, ‘punk gin palace’, ‘gangsters Tequila parlour’ and so on. Cocktails range from white-hot classics such as Aviation and Bramble to fiendishly imaginative tipples including the Oyster Bomb – an oyster shell filled with Jägermeister and spiced Red Bull jelly (find it in the 'gastro-mixology' section of the menu, alongside the squid-ink sour).

From drinks to foodie favourites such as pimped-up hot dogs or beer-battered fish, everything is served with a helping of feel-good style. Unpretentious vibes and regular happy hours guarantee full houses, and punters are pleased as punch to gain admission without scrutiny. Fair prices also mean that you can shout a round without emptying your wallet.
