About

Lina Stores Manchester marks the first regional expansion of the renowned Italian delicatessen and restaurant brand, which originated in Soho, London, in 1944.

Situated opposite the Opera House in the recently refurbished Quoin building, the venue offers a vibrant dining destination in the heart of Manchester, blending traditional Italian cuisine with contemporary design. Designed in collaboration with Behind Bars, the interiors feature a monochrome dark red palette, velvet banquettes, and chrome accents, creating a stylish yet relaxed setting that reflects the eclectic energy of Manchester.

Adjacent to the restaurant, the delicatessen provides a variety of breakfast and lunch options, including freshly made panini, healthy salads, and indulgent desserts. The shelves are stocked with pantry essentials like Sicilian extra virgin olive oil, Modena balsamic vinegar, and traditional biscotti.

Bar Lina, the in-house cocktail bar, offers a selection of Italian aperitivi and artisanal wines, including organic and biodynamic options. Signature cocktails feature creative twists on classics, such as the bloody martini with Sicilian tomato, rinomato americano vermouth, and vodka, and the basilico with gin, rinomato bianco vermouth, basil, and lemon.

The restaurant serves an all-day menu featuring fresh, handmade pasta, antipasti, secondi, and dolci. Signature dishes include thirty-egg yolk tagliolini with black truffle and Parmigiano Reggiano DOP, pappardelle with lamb sausage ragù, and seasonal specials like lemon sole and potato ravioli with samphire and Aleppo chilli. Heartier options such as chicken milanese with Amalfi lemon and luganega fennel sausage with escarole and chilli are also available. Desserts include Sicilian cannolo filled with ricotta, pistachio, and chocolate, and classic tiramisù.

Whether you’re visiting for a leisurely lunch, a pre-theatre dinner, or aperitivo at the bar, Lina Stores Manchester brings a vibrant slice of Italy to the heart of the city, combining over 75 years of culinary heritage with a stylish, modern setting.
