The Library is an elegant and intimate dining space located within the NoMad London Hotel in the heart of Covent Garden. Housed in the former Bow Street Magistrates’ Court and Police Station, the hotel blends historic architecture with contemporary luxury, and The Library serves as its refined lounge and dining area.
Overlooking the Royal Opera House, The Library is seen as the living room of the hotel. A concept born at NoMad New York, The Library offers a serene retreat from the bustle of central London. The space is lined with curated bookshelves and plush seating, creating a cosy, residential atmosphere ideal for relaxed dining or a quiet drink. It provides all-day dining for hotel guests only.
Led by Liana Oster and Leo Robitschek, the cocktail programme is the central point of its offering. A mix of classic cocktails, NoMad specialities and new inventions, all their cocktails are focused on seasonality. They also offer an extensive wine list, with a special focus on England’s viticulture.
To accompany the drinks menu, their menu encapsulates a sense of New York nostalgia. There’s a breakfast menu including lemon poppy pancakes with whipped ricotta, avocado toast with maitake mushrooms and a full English breakfast featuring black pudding, bacon, and potato rosti. Earlier in the day, there’s also a concise choice of snacks including crudites, oysters and flatbread with the all-day menu expanding after 11am. NoMad favourites like the fried chicken with aleppo chilli and lime are on there as well as the NoMad bacon-wrapped hot dog with black truffle and celery. For dessert, guests can enjoy a quirky candy bar with dark chocolate and caramel or a retro ice cream sandwich.
For a special dining experience in an iconic setting, book your stay at NoMad London to explore The Library.
