Jul’s brings its acclaimed Mediterranean dining concept to London’s West End, setting up in a historic former bank at 11 Waterloo Place. Known for its elegant yet relaxed approach to Mediterranean living, Jul’s reimagines grand architecture with a design that feels both theatrical and intimate – think marble, mosaic floors, scorched wood, and a dramatic interplay of light and shadow.
First launched in Ibiza in 2018 by Chef Christos Fotos alongside Jem and Ilhan Akyuz, Jul’s has earned a reputation for bold, sun-kissed flavours and experience-led hospitality. Its London debut continues that ethos, blending Greek inspiration with a contemporary Mediterranean spirit. The menu champions seasonality and locality, with collaborations with farms around London ensuring dishes reflect nature’s rhythm. Expect soulful plates like giouvetsi, flatbread with slow-cooked lamb, and grilled fish over open fire – familiar flavours elevated with modern craft.
Wine plays a starring role, showcased in a striking 6.5-metre glass wine wall that spans the height of the ground floor. The list balances heritage and innovation, featuring classic appellations alongside boutique producers committed to sustainability and biodynamic practices.
Below ground, No. 11 - Jul’s experimental cocktail bar - extends the brand’s philosophy into mixology. Here, Bar Directors Vasilis Sgouromallis and Dimitris Karapanos craft inventive drinks through distillation and infusion, echoing the kitchen’s flavour profile. From early evening aperitifs to late-night energy, No. 11 offers a dynamic, intimate setting for discovery and conversation.
Jul’s London is a celebration of contrasts: urban yet soulful, bold yet understated. It’s the next chapter in a story that began on a Balearic island and now unfolds in one of the world’s most vibrant dining capitals.
