Delicious food that was almost ruined by impressively incompetent service
The food here was delicious so it's a real shame the experience was overall tarnished by the absolutely hopeless waiter we unfortunately got stuck with. He was not managing to take our orders down correctly - and completely forgot about/ did not write down the 3 spanakopita portions myself and other guests were very excited for - and could not even wrap his head around re-filling our water carafe when it ran out during the meal, despite us asking multiple times (in the end we never got any more water and all left thirsty).
Then, when it was time for the bill we were actually charged for those 3 missing spanakopita, and the bottle of wine we ordered somehow doubled in price! Thankfully we were able to get them to fix their calculations, but it shouldn't have happened in the first place.
I would recommend this restaurant for its food and value for money on that front, but the service was just abysmal so maybe it would be best to stick with take-away?!
