Plentiful plates, packed tables, but lacks something
We visited for a pre-theatre dinner on a very busy early evening service and place was packed out - disappointed patrons were being turned away without a reservation. It is a very small restaurant and tables are very close together - do not go here if you are still social distancing! The food is plentiful, if anything too plentiful as I really could not finish my starter for fear of not being able to manage any of the main course pasta. Quality of the food is ok, but nothing to set the world on fire. Service was a bit lacklustre and distant, which was a shame but may have been due to how busy it was. But for value for money in what is usually an expensive part of town, it is hard to beat. We'd certainly use again for a quick bite to eat but it is not a place to really linger and savour.
