Found in the heart of Beaconsfield, the Crazy Bear hotel is one of the region’s most unique dining destinations, offering two distinct dining experiences. Hom Thai brings the flavours of Bangkok to the heart of Buckinghamshire, offering authentic flavours and traditional recipes from across Thailand.
Inside, the restaurant is elegant, bringing the warmth of Thai hospitality with Crazy Bear’s signature style. Expect velvet mustard seating, a neutral colour palette of dark woods and stones, with a dramatic canopy installation that spans the restaurant’s ceiling. Hom Thai is sure to bring a luxurious feel to your next meal out, whether you’re looking to impress with a client lunch, or celebrate a milestone occasion with your nearest and dearest.
When it comes to the menus, appetisers may include the likes of pork dim sum with sesame oil and soy dipping sauce, duck spring rolls served with hoisin and honey sauce, or prawn and vegetable tempura served with sweet chilli. Elsewhere, guests will find an extensive selection of dishes, available in fish, meat and veggie options. Expect dishes such as prawn pad Thai, chicken with roasted cashew nuts, or vegetable pad si ew. Traditional curries and soups are also on offer, including the likes of massaman or Thai green and red curries, as well as tom ya kung and tom kha gai soups.
Hom Thai also offers a selection of set menus, with a three-course dinner and two-course lunch option available. Start with appetisers such as vegetable gyoza and chicken satay, followed by spicy Thai basil beef, stir-fried tofu or massaman curry served with jasmine rice. When it comes to dessert, guests can finish off their meal with Thai pancakes stuffed with caramelised coconut, or coconut sticky rice with your choice of ice cream.
