What started as a small venture has grown into a multi-branched national chain thanks to its winning formular of artisan-made delights. It’s the combination of consistency and high standards that have seen it thrive and its Northampton branch is one of its most popular outposts.
Here you’ll find all the usual suspects on the menu. Firm favourites include the waffles and crepes which come topped with all sorts of genius combinations. We love the ‘Banoffee’ waffles which arrive covered in fresh banana, toffee sauce and sweet banana gelato. Elsewhere there are hand crafted, beautiful tortes and tartes as well as the towering ice cream sundaes of your childhood dreams. In fact, should you have little ones in tow, you might like to know that there’s a whole menu dedicated to kids to allow them their own slice of the action.
For those who like to have full direction on their desserts (we hear you) there’s a fun create your own section. Here you’ll be tasked with deciding between a base, a sauce, a side and a scoop of ice cream. Bases include cakes, waffles, cookie dough, crepes, pancakes, brownies, cheesecake and ‘croffles’. Next up it’s the sauces which range from all kinds of chocolate favourites through to maple syrup and even custard. Everything is then topped off with your choice of gelato plus a final flourish of fruit, chocolate shavings or biscuit crumb.
