Heard is a burger restaurant in Soho from two-Michelin-starred chef Jordan Bailey. Following the success of the Borough Market site, this opening marks the next phase in the concept’s evolution, offering a more expansive menu and a broader dining experience, while keeping the same focus on exceptional ingredients and bold flavour.
Set just off Carnaby Street, the space is split across two levels with distinct atmospheres. Upstairs is bright and fast-paced, with high stools and a visible open kitchen. Downstairs, banquette seating and a central bar create a more relaxed environment suited to longer meals and evening drinks. Designed in collaboration with Superfutures, the interiors combine clay tiles, warm timber and sculptural ceiling features to reflect the restaurant’s refined but unfussy style.
The menu is led by burgers made with British beef sourced from leading producers. Signature items include The Heard, a double smash patty with jalapeño hot honey and Ogleshield, and the Boring Burger, a classic combination of cheddar, pickles and Heard’s own sauce. A caviar upgrade adds an indulgent twist. The Soho Burger is a new addition exclusive to this site, made with a beef patty, gruyère, caramelised onion, watercress, mustard mayo and a side of pink peppercorn sauce for dipping or pouring.
Non-meat options include the Wild Umami, a house-made black bean and wild mushroom burger with aged cheddar and kimchi. All burgers are served in Heard’s signature roast potato bun. Shoestring fries are included inside the burger for added crunch.
Drinks are a central part of the offer. The list includes low-intervention wines selected by Majken Bech-Bailey, a sommelier with experience at Henne Kirkeby Kro and Maaemo. Each burger has a suggested wine pairing, and Heard also serves craft beer from Forest Road Brewery and a small selection of cocktails. BÆK, Majken’s own non-alcoholic wine, is also available.
Heard Soho expands on the original concept with more space, new dishes and a deeper drinks programme, while staying true to its roots as a high-quality, flavour-led burger restaurant. It suits everything from casual dinners to more curated evenings out.
