The Flour Garden is a seasonal al fresco restaurant within The Ainsworth Collection’s St. Enodoc Hotel, serving up a refined pizza and salad menu on a scenic outdoor terrace and garden area overlooking the estuary. Celebrating Cornish produce, the Flour Garden offers an outdoor dining experience inspired by Italian and Mediterranean cuisine, and as always, a commitment to the very best local and seasonal ingredients.
Opened by co-owners Paul and Emma Ainsworth as part of the St. Enodoc Hotel, The Flour Garden joins the year-round Estuary Grill and bar terrace as the newest addition to the growing Ainsworth Collection. Michelin-starred Paul Ainsworth is best known for his impressive range of restaurants, bars and boutiques in Cornwall, including No. 6 in Padstow, along with the Mariners Public House in Wadebridge and Ci Ci’s Bar.
Handmade pizzas are the cornerstone of the Flour Garden menu, including salsiccia e finocchio, topped with roasted fennel sausage and Iberico salchichon, or for a meat-free option, look to the fiorentina, complete with kalamata olives, spinach, mascarpone, St. Ewe egg and nutmeg. The fresh salads menu reinvents the classic salad to highlight high-quality ingredients from local and seasonal Cornish produce. For example, the nicoise features Aral Farm leaves, Penita tuna belly, French beans, St. Ewe egg and lilliput capers. These salads are the perfect dishes for summery outdoor dining.
Dessert at the Flour Garden features a true summer classic: soft serve ice cream. Simple but delicious, the ice cream menu offers a choice of vanilla brown butter, chocolate, or half and half, finished with old-school toppings like roasted peanuts and maraschino cherries.
