Rude, Rushed, Hit and miss with quality of food
I’ve been to 50 Gloucester rd and 144 Gloucester rd. Both visits were poor service. Only one waiter was nice - even the owner Yvonne was rude. Both times I observed preferential treatment between customers I.e. you may receive better service if you are Arab (from the gulf mainly) or white.
Food is hit and miss. Some of what we ordered was nice but then the french toast took less than 5 minutes to arrive and you could tell why. It was nothing like french toast, the honey tasted cheap, and the portion was tiny. They have also lied on the menu. Always check - for example it says gelato in the menu but when we asked they confirmed it was box ice cream. I gave them a second chance but I’m not going again.
