About

Set on Peter Street in the heart of the city centre, Exhibition brings an upmarket take on the classic food hall, offering beautiful open-plan interiors and multiple kitchens in a setting that feels restaurant-led rather than market-like. Here, you’ll find three food vendors, a dedicated cocktail bar, and regular programs of DJ sets suited to late-night drinking and dining. Full table service and a relaxed atmosphere add to the appeal, attracting celebrating groups, post-work crowds and weekend diners.

Inside, interiors combine industrial elements with a clever modern design. The property is a substantial commercial building, complete with high ceilings, raw plaster, and hanging plants. It’s dramatic, softened by the addition of dark wood picnic-style tables that lend a more convivial setting for group dinners overlooking open kitchens. Lighting meanwhile, is low and atmospheric, bolstered by music and DJ sets which add more energy later into the night. It might be large, but it feels cosy and homey, positioning Exhibition as an intimate, on-trend destination.

Current long-term kitchens at Exhibition include the much-applauded Bangkok Diners Club, which draws on two distinct Thai cooking styles from Issan in the northeast and the buzz of Bangkok’s markets and kitchens. From here come dishes like corn-fed chicken in coconut and galangal tom kha broth with shimeji mushrooms, and salt-aged beef salad with Thai herb nam tok and whipped bone marrow.

You’ll also find More Joy, a Chinese barbecue concept serving up smoky skewers, bold marinaded dishes and street-food inspired energy. Think, Yorkshire pork char siu comes glazed with cured egg yolk, lamb skewers are seasoned with cumin and soy, and beef short rib is served with black pepper, garlic and herb paste. Anatra, meanwhile, is a modern Italian trattoria-style kitchen focused on homestyle cooking and a family-run atmosphere, with hearty seasonal dishes and homemade pasta.
