In a neighbourhood packed with places competing for attention, Enish Soho Edition brings something distinctive to the table - literally. Located in the heart of Soho, this stylish Afro-fusion restaurant combines contemporary design, vibrant nightlife and the flavours of West Africa, creating a destination that - yes - is a restaurant, but also feels like a whole experience, that can lead into drinks, dancing and a celebration that goes on all evening.
Since launching in London in 2013, Enish has built a reputation for showcasing Nigerian cuisine with a modern approach, expanding across the capital to America and Dubai. The Soho site continues that story in an elegant setting where food, music and hospitality come together.
The menu celebrates traditional Nigerian ingredients and flavours while presenting them with a contemporary twist. Starters include suya gizzard and caramelised plantain bites with a signature spicy glaze, while garnished, steamed Tilapia fish offers a lighter introduction and then, there's the spicy pomo which delivers cow skin in a rich fried tomato sauce. Main courses might look like spicy grilled goat meat with jollof rice and plantain, beans and plantain harmony or the yam porridge which sounds utterly satisfying. Those with room for dessert can finish with a generous helping of sticky toffee pudding or chocolate fudge cake served with vanilla ice cream.
Cocktails play an equally important role in the experience. Guests can sip on a Ciroc Martini made with red berry Ciroc, syrup and lime juice, or opt for a Porn Star Martini blended with vodka, rum, passion fruit pulp and bitters. Alongside an international wine list, guests can also explore Palm Wine, a traditional African drink that adds another layer to the restaurant's cultural offering.
And, if you love what you taste in the restaurant, you can even hire the team to cater for your own event at home, or even work with the team on a private dining experience.
