Located on the outskirts of Clerkenwell, Drip London is a unique dining venue by Angle90, offering menus of West African fusion with a fashionable flair. At Drip London there is not only a restaurant but a bar and lounge, too, so you can retreat to a cosier spot after a bite to eat and let the fun continue with expertly crafted cocktails. Slick, black detailing, and white marble flooring sit against a dark and moody backdrop, with neon lighting that illuminates you and your guests as you dine.
To begin, order the crispy salt and pepper calamari served with suya mayo, or breaded prawns with crispy salad and a sweet chilli and lime dip. If seafood is not your thing, try the thousand layer potato with black truffle soured cream and truffle oil, some slow cooked goat meat or chicken wings in BBQ and Hennessy. The main menu isn't particularly long, but there is a solid selection of fish and meat dishes, although we can’t spot any vegetarian options. The sea bass comes with spiced cucumbers and a coconut and mint gazpacho, then there's a succulent slow roasted lamb rump with squash three ways and red wine reduction, and drippin wagyu burger.
On the side, you've got options of jollof or plain rice, plantain, raw and tofu salads, cassava chips and truffle fries. Last but not least, finish off a great meal with a tasty dessert. There's an orange and mixed berry panna cotta, classic coffee tiramisu, chocolate and almond cake and hot mini filled doughnuts with chocolate, pistachio, Biscoff and caramel. Classic cocktails from the bar and lounge include all your favourites – like a Whiskey Sour, Pornstar Martini and Mojito, and some signature specials like the Cranberry and Mint Spritz and Apple Pie Martini.
