Out of the same stable as the long-serving Tannin Level Bar & Bistro, Deano’s is something a bit different in Harrogate – a casual allcomers’ eatery offering a mix of international ‘tapas-style’ grazing and sharing plates plus a selection of char-grilled Yorkshire steaks. Expect a mix of seafood, meat and veggie morsels ranging from smoked haddock fondue with ciabatta toast or grilled jerk chicken with mango salsa and sweet potato wedges to warm sag aloo salad or goats’ cheese brûlée with beetroot relish. You can stay with the nibbles or take the three-course route by ordering a rib-eye or ‘barrel fillet’ followed by rhubarb and custard crumble or a scoop or two from Antonio’s ice cream parlour. Deano’s crowd-pulling ‘Sunday social’ brings together all-day brunch, grazing plates and traditional roasts, while Monday night is ’cow night’ (ie. steaks and grills).
