Problem solved in an instant

A lovely meal to celebrate a special event for my granddaughter.  Our original table was in an exceedingly cold corner, but we were moved to another table the moment we brought this to the attention of the waiter, with a minimum of fuss.  The service at Cote Cambridge is akways so welcoming and efficient.

Food was enjoyable

Friendly staff, difficult to hear what they were saying as strong accents and loud background noises.  The table was dirty, sticky marks from drinks and hair and crumbs on the table.  Crumbs in the edge crack, not sure how long had been there.  Asked if they could clean the table, they did this quickly.  The meal choices looked fabulous and we actually had difficulty choosing, as so many were appealing.  Perfect portion sizes, we were able to enjoy starter, main and desert. I had a Cafe Noisette, which although tasted nice after adding sugar, I had expected this to be hot to the touch, glass cup, but it was barely warm and after a few sips was cold.  Overall we would try again, for a different menu choice and can forgive the unfortunate bad points.
