This clubhouse at the Cameron House hotel is not just there for the golfers who want to relive every stroke of their round – anyone who needs a decent pick-me-up is welcome. Apart from the excellent views, don’t expect anything grand – it’s not that sort of place – but do look for hearty soups, chilli lime squid, mixed grills and burgers. Portions are generous and the service is quick, and that’s just what's needed having spent a good few hours in the morning on the green. It’s a lively, grown-up space, and though children are not turned away, they’d probably have more fun at The Boathouse.
