By day, Cilicia is a smiley, come-in-as-you-are café serving (all day) big breakfasts - the full English (veggie version) features grilled halloumi – and lunches. Then at 5pm sharp, it changes into
a cosy restaurant serving unpretentious Mediterranean grills, seafood, mezes, casseroles and pide. Traditional desserts include baklava and sutlach, a kind of creamy rice pudding. The mix of
orange-painted walls, bare brick, assorted artefacts and multi-coloured hanging lamps give the place a real warmth.
