Sunday Lunch. It begain with beer. Honey Beer to be exact. We ate creamy goats curd on a bed of bright beetroots sprinkled in hazelnuts and rich pork and pistachio terrine with cornichons smeared onto slabs of sourdough.
The main event was the 12 hour pork shoulder with roast potatoes, baked leeks and purple heritage carrots doused in cider gravy followed by sticky date pudding with salted caramel sauce.
Another Brixton triumph. Drop by for a cocktail, local beer or cider and delicious seasonal grub. They also have a great little shop selling beautiful interior and kitchenware, cookbooks, falcon dishes, beeswax candles and textiles and cards made by local designers.
