Nestled in the heart of Connaught Village, Boxcar Hyde Park is a neighbourhood eatery serving baked goods and seasonal lunch menus. It comes to London from the same team behind Boxcar Marylebone, located just down the road.
Boxcar Hyde Park is perfect for those looking for a warm and welcoming place to grab a bite to eat - a cosy nook where you can while away a couple of hours over delicious sweet treats and freshly brewed coffees, artistically made by the site’s baristas.
It's open every day from 8am for breakfast and lunch, with fresh pastries baked in-house using seasonal ingredients from local farms and producers, plus hand-roasted coffee that’s worth slowing down for. With a mix of indoor and outdoor tables, it’s a great place to catch up, take a breather or just enjoy something delicious in the sunshine.
You'll also find a delicious all-day brunch menu if you're in the mood for something more substantial. Think scrambled eggs with wild mushrooms and pecorino on toast, and aubergine croissant benedict with red pepper, spinach and harissa hollandaise.
There's also a list of freshly-made sandwiches, all of which are served with a mixed leaf salad, toasted seeds and citrus dressing. Examples of fillings might include chicken, avocado, spinach and tarragon mayo, or for veggie fans, roasted aubergine with feta, red pepper, rocket and lemon mayo.
Boxcar Hyde Park is also available for private hire, offering charming views over the village through floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows – a beautiful setting for gatherings of all kinds.
Do note that Boxcar Hyde Park doesn't take reservations, and is available for walk-ins only. Four-legged friends are always welcome.
