Blossom Room brings colourful Japanese-inspired dining to the heart of Milton Keynes, with an extensive menu, lively atmosphere and an interior that certainly lives up to its name. Open for lunch, dinner and late-night dining, it’s particularly well suited to birthday celebrations, group meals and special occasions.
The menu ranges from sushi and small plates to noodles, ramen, curries and larger mains. Start with crispy Asian tacos, gyozas or bao buns, before exploring sushi options such as California rolls and salmon sashimi. Gyoza ramen comes with wakame seaweed, boiled egg, pak choi, sugar snap peas and spring onions, while other comforting choices include katsu curry, Japanese beef curry and stir-fried noodles with crunchy vegetables, soy and sesame. Elsewhere, expect dishes such as Kyoto short ribs, bento selections and a Wagyu beef burger. Boneless chicken tenders come with a choice of flavours including sticky hoisin or garlic and Parmesan, while vegetarian and vegan diners are also catered for.
The interiors are every bit as vibrant as the food. A dramatic canopy of blossom and twinkling fairy lights fills the ceiling, complemented by Japanese-inspired artwork, a large moon mural and flashes of electric blue across the seating and wraparound bar. Velvet furnishings add to the theatrical feel, while the outdoor terrace offers tables and comfortable corner seating for warmer days.
There’s plenty happening beyond the main restaurant menu. Blossom Room hosts live music and entertainment, with dancing adding to the late-night atmosphere. Bottomless brunch combines a two-course meal with unlimited Prosecco, beer or wine, with cocktails available as an upgrade, while daily lunch offers provide another way to visit.
Afternoon tea is also available, featuring sandwiches, scones and pastries, making Blossom Room as suited to daytime get-togethers as lively evening celebrations.
