On Chapel Walk, right in the middle of Worcester, and just a short walk from the River Severn, you'll stumble across Bill's – famed across the country for casual all-day British dining. Doors of the restaurant open early every day, ready to serve hungry diners a delicious breakfast. You'll always enjoy free WiFi at this dog-friendly restaurant, and in the warmer weather, be sure to check out the restaurant’s sun terrace.
Begin your day with a tropical granola bowl filled with banana, mango, passion fruit and yoghurt, or a simple tea and toast (with plenty of butter and strawberry jam). You'll find all the classics on the menu, including eggs Benedict, florentine and royale, along with two poached eggs on sourdough with roast butternut squash, hummus, baby spinach and feta. If sweet treats are your way to start the day, order the stack of three or five buttermilk pancakes, topped with smoked streaky bacon, or berries and whipped vanilla cream. A totally indulgent option is the Biscoff crumb with maple and banana – which we think anybody would have trouble turning down.
All day dining at Bill's begins with small snacks, like chorizo in chilli honey with toasted flatbread and green halkidiki olives. To officially start your main meal, order the Korean fried cauliflower with gochujang, sesame, coriander and pickled cucumber, or crispy calamari with roast garlic and basil aioli. Next up, there are mains that include a chicken schnitzel topped with a fried egg and drizzled with garlic and caper butter, served with celeriac slaw and skin on fries. If you're going the whole hog, order the Bill's flowerpot dessert, made with passion fruit cheesecake, chocolate soil, fresh strawberries and topped with an edible flower.
