Whether local residents like it or not, Billericay is probably best known as being the home of Gavin Shipman, his parents Pam and Mick and his best friend ‘Smithy’. Of course, we are referring to the hit BBC comedy Gavin & Stacey, although fans of the show might be disappointed if they turn up trying to find Pam and Mick’s house - the ‘Billericay’ we saw on screen was actually shot in Wales, along with the rest of the series.
