Best vegan brunches in London: 14 plant-based places to start your day

Plant-based eating has proved itself as more than just a fad. Every year, more and more of us are choosing to make changes to our eating habits and 2024 is no different. Thousands of foodies are continuing to take part in Veganuary, where participants cut out all meat and animal products from their diet for the entire month of January. But choosing to go vegan doesn't mean that you have to give up eating out.

There are a whole host of vegan restaurants in London, with people flocking to them as they make more sustainable choices for their future with aims to reduce carbon footprints, improve health and be more conscious of animal welfare. The capital, in particular, is the place to be if you're craving some delicious vegan cuisine. Especially when it comes to brunch - arguably the most important meal of the day. Gone are the days of plain avocado toast being served as the only plant-based option. Don't get us wrong we still love the brunch classic, but it's 2024 - we can do better.

Brunch has seen quite an evolution in recent years with introductions of the boozy edition of the mid-morning meal that has taken the country by storm. There are countless places you can enjoy bottomless brunches in London and whilst a fair few have vegan options we're looking for something a bit more substantial. With Caribbean plantain pancakes to jackfruit tacos, these menus have really taken the concept of plant-based brunch up a notch and you'll definitely want to check them out.

Whether you’re jumping on the bandwagon this year, or just fancy cutting down your meat consumption, we've rounded up a selection of our top vegan brunches across the city.
