On the hunt for some of the best places to eat in Edinburgh, but don’t want to leave your furry friend behind? We get it. Your dog is part of the family, so why would you go out for dinner without them? The good news is that every single one of these Edinburgh restaurants is completely dog-friendly, so there's no need to leave the doggo at home next time you're looking to eat out.

While it’s pretty common for local pubs and cafes to welcome dogs with open arms, that’s not always the case everywhere, and it can be hard to know whether you’ll be met with open arms, or whether you’ll be turned away, tail between your legs. That’s why we’ve scoured the city to find a selection of dog-friendly restaurants in Edinburgh, so you know exactly where you stand.
