Open daily between 1 July and 30 September 2025, Battuta is a summer pop-up restaurant by renowned French chef Yannick Alléno, located at the Four Seasons Hotel on Park Lane, Mayfair.
Battuta’s setting in Mayfair, one of London’s most prestigious districts, places it amid luxury boutiques, art galleries and high-end hotels. Occupying the former Bar Antoine space, it offers both indoor and heated terrace seating. The al-fresco terrace, furnished with earthy tones and natural textures, evokes both relaxed elegance and the spirit of global exploration.
The cuisine at Battuta is a vibrant fusion inspired by the travels of the 14th-century explorer Ibn Battuta, whose journeys across North Africa, the Middle East and Asia provide the thematic backbone of the menu. Designed for sharing, dishes are prepared with a theatrical flair, with several courses finished tableside to enhance the dining experience. The menu focuses on sustainably sourced, seasonal ingredients and balances grilled meats, seafood and vegetarian options. Signature dishes include crispy prawn toast, steamed dumplings (with chicken or wagyu), noodle broth with confit pork belly and Chinese greens, and crispy chicken thigh. There’s also ‘Etlimek’ flatbread with minced beef, lamb and herb-yoghurt dressing, couscous with clams and green sauce, sticky samosa with mango and black sesame, and desserts such as crispy kadaifi with cardamom ice cream.
Battuta offers a well-curated drinks list to complement its eclectic menu, with a strong emphasis on Mediterranean and Middle Eastern influences. Guests can enjoy creative cocktails infused with regional spices and botanicals, as well as a refined selection of wines and champagnes from both European and New World producers.
In summary, Battuta is an engaging pop-up concept that combines theatrical presentation, shared plates and globally inspired flavours in a stylish Mayfair setting. It offers a memorable summer dining experience anchored by Chef Alléno’s international culinary vision.
