Disappointment all round. Having made a reservation we were initially given the smallest table by a open window next to a main road and asked to be moved.
Selection of mains - if your ignore the pizzas (if I wanted to eat pizza I would go Italian) it was a confused menu. I had the spicy chicken (which was dry and not spicy) without a sauce. If my chips were cooked to duck fat they would have had a more crispy skin, but were soft. My partner had the "house" burger which was more like an ice-hockey puck and with pickles, which was two small slices of a pickle.
As we sat near the bar, we could overhear the female Manager (?) barking orders at staff. When taking the orders we were proposed the most expensive on the menu and before finishing the wine in our glasses a second bottle arrived before we had ordered it.
The website claims "staff wear face masks" - not a mask in sight!!
