SquareMeal Review of
The Buttery Café
Built in the early years of the 18th century, Burgh House is not only home to the Hampstead Museum, but also ticks along as an art gallery & classical concert venue. Visitors can now get some
sustenance too – thanks to the recently revamped Buttery Café. Touted as the only ‘licensed garden café’ in the neighbourhood, it makes a lovely spot for a daytime snack, whether you are sitting
outside amid the greenery or in the warm comfortable interior. Come for coffee & cakes, casual lunches based on seasonal ingredients, afternoon tea, weekend brunch or even a traditional Sunday
roast. Also handy for close-of-play chill-outs at the end of the working week.
