The Barn at Moor Hall
A more casual alternative to the fine-dining at Restaurant Moor Hall, The Barn hosts up to 65 diners in the converted building adjacent to the main manor house. A rustic design sees original beams and brickwork, with an open kitchen and central bar. At lunchtime, The Barn serves an affordable three-course set menu, while dinner sees a more extensive à la carte. Dishes to try include baked scallop with leek and potato, mushroom risotto with marrow and crispy chicken wing, and carrot cake with salted caramel, walnut and gingerbread ice cream. Aside from cocktails and craft beers, a 50-bin international wine list features 15 by-the-glass options, with bottles from £20.
