Chefs Jackson Boxer and Andrew Clarke have teamed up once again to launch this Shoreditch joint. The pair, who also oversee Brunswick House in Vauxhall, deliver a simple menu of vegetables, fish and crustacea from the raw bar, while larger plates come from a log-fired hearth. Start out with the likes of mackerel with soy butter or razor clams with courgette, before moving on to dishes such as whole red mullet with cucumber, garlic and yoghurt, joined by a side of salt and pepper fries. Head to the bar for post-dinner drinks, where you’ll find a 200 bin wine list and classic cocktails including Martinis and Negronis. Looking for something more intimate? St Leonard’s also boasts a 12-seat private dining room.
