Since finishing construction in 2012, The Shard has been a hard-to-miss beacon of entertaining in the middle of the capital. On Levels 69-72, you'll find The View From The Shard, a stunning viewing platform and events space that really is like nowhere else in the city. The View From The Shard has multiple spaces and can cater for all sorts of events, from large parties to smaller private dining.
The experience starts on the ground floor, when guests enter The Shard via a private entrance into a customisable greeting area. Here, you can share digital assets with the team to show across screens, sharing a message of welcome, your logo or branding, or a mix of media. Jump in the lift and whizz up to Level 68 where the party really starts. A clean, sleek space with floor-to-ceiling windows offers the first glimpse of this breath-taking view, while trays of drinks and canapes can circulate the space, bringing your guests into the event's concept.
The main events space runs across Level 69 and 72, boasting 266 square metres of floor space, triple-height ceilings which flood the space with light, catering for suspended installations and decorations, with room for up to 375 people. Previous events have included wellness festivals, weddings, wine tastings and live entertainment, but seated dinners are arguably the most breath-taking way to use the space. Up to 60 guests can be catered for in a banquet set-up, which sees one long table run across the floor.
